A trip with the Doctor (Torchwood, Jack/Ianto)
Jack found Ianto on the roof, shivering against the winter chill. He was only in his suit and looking up in the sky at the stars above. Jack slipped behind him and looping his arms around Ianto’s waist, resting his chin on Ianto’s shoulder.
“Ah Orion and Sirius, two constellations I haven’t been to yet.” Jack spoke before lightly kissing Ianto’s cheek.
“Well you could always ask the Doctor to take you there.” Ianto replied with a smile. “When you see him next.”
“You could come with us.” Jack added with a smile, “I’m sure the Doctor wouldn’t mind.”
Ianto smiled and turned around to face Jack. “How’s James?”
“Fast asleep in his apartment, Martha’s staying the night, in case of bad dreams or whatever.” Jack replied. “He really has had a rough day.”
“Yeah he has, though he’s missing those beautiful stars in the sky.” Ianto pointed out, looking up at the sky. “Maybe he can come with us as well.”
Jack gave a low chuckle. “Good idea, maybe even Martha and Gwen would love to come as well.”
“Is the Doctor’s ship big enough?” Ianto asked. “Could we all fit into his blue box?”
“Oh we’ll manage; you wouldn’t believe how big it really is.” Jack replied with a smile.
Ianto nodded, “It better be worth it then!”
“Oh Ianto Jones, it will be, just you wait.”
