Ianto nearly dropped the phone. Jack had never told him those three words that Ianto would always slip from his mouth from time to time. Jack would just smile and kiss him on the lips saying that it was his way of proving his love. Surprisingly Ianto never wanted to hear him say it.

“Ianto, how are you alright?” Jack asked him.

“Yeah sorry I’m....” Ianto replied not knowing what else to say.

“I’ve been meaning to say it for awhile.” Jack explained, the tone in his voice proving he wasn’t lying. Ianto felt tears forming.

“I love you too.”
