Fears in my mind (Challenge 100: 100 drabbles/fears)
Why do I fear the dark when I close my eyes? I know it isn’t Lisa as the fear has always been there. I dream of walking down a lonely road in the middle of the Welsh countryside, the rain pouring down around me. The road will stretch for miles and miles, endless just like my fears of the dark and loneliness.
I never told Jack about my dream because I know that it will stir the same fears that possesses in his mind.
“Are you ok?” He asks.
I hold him tightly.
“Just a dream, sir.” I tell him.
