One hundred and fifty, a number which represented itself in different ways from items in the archives to the number written upon a piece of paper Jack had slipped into Ianto’s pocket.
“What’s this for?” Ianto asked while Jack wrapped his arms around him.
“Nothing, it’s just a number,” Jack replied with a smile.
“Then why...”
Jack put a finger to his lip, “That’s for you to find out.”
Later that night Ianto looked around the archives, the piece of paper still stuck in his hand.
By sunrise he found the answer.
Jack was over hundred and fifty years old.
