Returning (Challenge 139: Prodigal Child)
It was quiet at the train station, normal for a Tuesday morning in the year 1927. Jack stood quietly on the platform. Today was the day Torchwood would be regaining a member. Peter Watson had returned after leaving without a word six months ago, now Torchwood were willing to take him back.
“Jack?”
He didn’t turn around, “Hello Peter,”
“Well I’m back,” Peter replied, “I’m sorry that....”
“Don’t, please just don’t.”
Peter sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, “Does this mean....?”
“No, I understand why you left.”
Peter nodded.
“Good because I came back for you.”
“I know.”
“Jack?”
He didn’t turn around, “Hello Peter,”
“Well I’m back,” Peter replied, “I’m sorry that....”

Peter sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, “Does this mean....?”
“No, I understand why you left.”
Peter nodded.
“Good because I came back for you.”
