Scott hears the front door open. He smiles since he isn’t expecting John for several hours and possibly in a disappointed mood. Though he believes John will go straight to their bedroom and not come out for ten minutes like he has very year. He doesn’t care what his present is as long as John’s been sensible. Yeah right!

Having had four dogs myself? Well... At least Yorkies are little! I had 2 Springers and 2 Huskies. LOL. Lotsa dog there.

Very sweet! This is how I see Scott too--amused while not always showing it, exceedingly tolerant, but when it comes to JB, a complete pushover. LOL.

There is a reason I identify with Scott, I tell you... :)

Love the final moment there actually, the arm punching and all, which is so much more "smack you over the head, idiot" in a loving way than any lovey-dovey nuzzling would be, so I like that you went for the comfortable physicality there.

And haha, and I can just see Scott's face at the tapping paws and that doggie face pearing up at him, then trying to glower at John and failing.

John's "LOOK AT THIS SCOTT! LOOK AT MY AWESOME GIFT! LOOK HE BASICALLY SPARKLES AND I GOT HIM ALL FOR YOU! YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME" entrance is awesome. He's bouncy, I like him like that.

Yes,the arm punching was more was in my head than a lovey-dovey action. To be honest that would be how I would react with someone said something like what JB said to me.

I know what's it's like because my dad is the one who has to convince my mum to buy things like new computers, tvs etc. So yeah I know how they would react.

I can't see him not being bouncy for some reason.
