I was just re-watching the ending of Brokeback Mountain the other night on Movie Central and remembered how devastating it was and thinking I should re-watch the DVD sometime. I guess now I will.

Besides Brokeback and I'm Not There, are there any Heath Ledger movies I should check out? It seems to me that he was a talented guy just coming into his own that had been in a lot of average-to-bad movies.

I'll second 10 Things I hate About You - a great movie in its own right, but a great turn from Ledger too.

I'm not sure how deep into his performance as The Joker he went, but the movie better not be delayed. Also, I may have to watch 10 Things as a tribute.

From what I read he finished filming Batman so it should not be delayed.

I foresee a big opening weekend for The Dark Knight.

He was so damn talented - why do the good actors always die?
