Top 5 Beautiful Women

Sep 21, 2006 21:41

This was inspired by the Top 5 Hottest Women.

So how is this different?

There is hot and there is beautiful.

Beautiful meaning they wow your socks off, without it being an automatic sex thing.

5. Valerie Bertinelli

Best remembered for her role on One Day at a Time, Valerie was the skinny teen aged daughter that caught everybodys eye. She got even more beautiful as she got older, but went and married Eddie Van Halen and wasn't seen on TV very much until a few years ago when she made a comeback.

4. Barbara Eden

Eden may have become a "sexy" star had she been born a decade later. But the 60s Network TV were more toned down and she was a perfect fit. She clearly had the body and the willingness to show it off, but she also had that happy smile that made her more beautiful then slutty. Early in Edens career she was to be a stand in for Marylin Monroe, playing her role for a TV show based on one of her movies. The TV show didn't do so well, but the network realized they had something special with Eden and gave her a new show devoted to her. I dream of Jeanie was a hit and Eden overcame being coming up "short" compared to Marylin.

3. Loni Anderson

Lonni could have been the slutty, showoff, sexpot that men craved, but never became one. She carried herself with class. My views on her are very much colored by her role in WKRP. I need to watch Strokers Ace again because I remember being horrified that pig Ned Beaty was going to have sex with her in that one scene. I laughed out loud afterwards. It was a more sexy role for her than WKRP and she did show more skin, but I don't recall her doing anything major to tarnish her beautiful status in my eyes.

2. Lynda Carter.

When I was at work and the topic old TV shows came up, I mentioned Wonder Woman. One of the women I worked with said "All men remember Wonder Woman" to which I replied "Lynda Carter is hard to forget" and she agreed, that Lynda was indeed a beautiful woman. She had a real natural beauty about her and was one of the few beautiful women that even women liked.

1. Miss Elizabeth.

I think every 80's wrestling fan knows what I'm talking about here. This woman was pure innocence and beauty. She was very soft and tender and people everywhere just LOVED her. If a wrestler were even suggest to hurt her they immediately became universally hated bad guys. At no point during her 80s run with the WWF did you ever get the impression that she was acting and that helped make the stuff she was involved in much more real.

wrestling, movies, lists, tv
