No offense to you or your review, but I'm still not rushing out to see this. I've seen The Sixth Sense, The Village, and part of Signs and they were all terrible. Especially The Village. High school geometry class is more engaging than that film was. M. Night Shyamalan is easily one of my least favorite directors of all time and I am guessing that the presence of Samuel L. Jackson is the only reason this movie can be considered good.
I hate that people hated this. It was supposed to be the first in a trilogy, but people hated it so it won't happen. I was really looking forward to it.
Well that simply would've been a fantastic trilogy and a model for how comic book franchises could be properly created and maintained. Stupid movie-going public.
Out of the five times I've attempted to watch this movie, I stayed awake once. It's not so much the lack of action, because I knew it wasn't going to be like that, but somehow I just felt unimpressed by the two.
