I disagree.... I think that was a spoiler. Before John Doe shows up at the police station, you've only heard his voice, & depending on how well you know Spacey's voice determines whether or not you figured out who it is.

Other than that, pretty much bang on.

but the point of the movie is not to find out the killer, as it turns out in the end. Plus, I saw this movie well after several people told me Spacey is the killer, and I still thought it was a perfect movie. Had the movie been all about finding mystery killer and ended when he's caught, then it would have been a real spoiler.

I saw this film for the first time earlier this year, after I avoided it because everyone was telling me how great it was, and I was expecting to be a let down. After I finished watching it, I was just amazed at how great Seven really is, and would now consider it as one of the best American films of the last 20 years.
