So, here is my current rant about something that's been discussed amongst so many people. Why is it that when a person finally gets a significant other, they give up on all other friends/hobbies they held before that person came along. What ever happened to a 2-side relationship with reciprocating understanding? I've had friends come and go, but

you have a slightly unique perspective on this though, bill. Your girlfriend plays magic...and even when she may not be in the mood, she can understand and respect your need to, im sure. its not always so with others. and from the perspective of a gamer...while magic cards will be there waiting...that hot(?) piece of squak may not be.

Oddly enough, my girlfriend didn't play Magic when we met, she was taught by us. Secondly, since then she has quit and hasn't played in over a year now, but is still equally understanding.

You say that Magic cards will be there waiting, but the friends to play them with may not be. This whole thing was aimed more at losing friends from girlfriends, not just quitting magic.

besides...if the girl is even moderately attractive...its impossible to bring her to the table without her being gawked at...which, I hear, women DONT like...
