Agreed! If Matsuda Shota's hair was onscreen in every scene, I would be completely mesmerized out of all complaint! It's such a joy to watch him run rings around people... but sometimes I'm distracted from whatever he's saying because all my brain can think is "omg he's so pretty, look at his hair!" SIGH.

That is a completely justified poking, I have not captured even a slim fraction of my love for them yet! I made one of the first half of Spirits!! a few weeks ago but I haven't done the second part yet so I didn't post it around to any Eito comms! STILL NEEDS MOAR PICSPAMMING. LIKE, MAYBE HONJANI EVEN THOUGH MY CAPS WILL BE TINY AND TERRIBLE QUALITY. Eitooooo~ ♥♥

Bara no nai Hanaya! I've downloaded it but haven't actually watched it yet, but I am getting the feeling that I definitely should. It sounds pretty much up my alley.

Based on my totally limited knowledge of your drama tastes, I think you'd like Bara no nai Hanaya! It reminds me a lot of Haikei in tone, in that it's quiet and emotional but doesn't take itself too seriously.

I CAN NO LONGER DENY THAT IT HITS ME AND HITS ME GOOD. It's funny, I'm not really someone who has particularly liked kids irl or in my fiction but there's just something about a man showing that sort of unconditional love! I wouldn't mind if these drama streak continues for me, is what I'm saying. :D

LIAR GAME, *sigh*. Those constant flashes of everyone's reaction shot were so freaking annoying. Also, Fukunaga - I always wanted to punch him in the face, though I guess that was the actor's intention as well, so success on his part. Erika's character is just so incredibly silly though, I'm surprised fandom was so excited over LG2 when I was tired of LG1's plot 3 episodes in (though I still finished it cause I was hoping for some Erika/Matsuda Shota).
Tokyo Dogs was good, I was kind of indifferent to it at the start but got really into it during the later half. This was the first drama where I found Oguri Shun attractive! I totally didn't get the fuss over him back with Hana Kimi and HYD (I thought his HYD hair was ridiculous awful).

LIAR GAME SIGH, indeed! I started the show thinking it must be good since it's S2 is so popular... but now I think that's because we all want Toda Erika and Matsuda Shota to make out! I do not blame us. In fact, phrenk and I were saying that we want the nefarious purpose of the Liar Game to be making Akiyama and Nao share a room and placing bets on when they make out and giggling happily when they do.

Yeah! I liked Rui alright in HYD but I never had very strong feelings for him. Matsujun's dumb face may have distracted me though, I swear I didn't know notice how blindingly hot Matsuda Shota is until I saw ( ... )

Also, I encourage Bad Family viewing. Don't be fooled by the first episode, which is...a bit of a wet noodle, in a way! It really, truly takes off from the second episode, and sticks to the wall perfectly! (I...don't know what that means either. I...I started with a pasta analogy, so I had to see it through?)
Thank you for reminding me of the existence of Haikei, Chichiue-sama and my need to have it in my life.

WORD. Actually, Daniel Henney doesn't do anything for me but man, Jae Ha's eyes? I was gone for him immediately but I only fell farther when he turned into such a teddy bear. :) I loved Spring Waltz so much more than I expected to!

Hee, don't worry, I'm following you through that maze of metaphor! Or at least your intent. Bad Family is something that's long been on my list because I really can't get enough of non-traditional, unrelated by blood families! It's always great to get another rec of it though, it makes me so excited for when I do start it!
