At his gentle touch, Bella laughed, "I was just kidding about... nevermind."

She turned her face to his and kissed his lips, "Take me anywhere, just no more kittens."

"Good, I was too. I could never eat a kitten. Under my rough exterior, I have a soft heart. So to speak."

He smiled and took her hand, twining their fingers together, "There's a library, if you have the burning desire to read. Or the kitchen, but you said you're not hungry. I could show you the grounds, if you wanted to go back outside. We have a lake, and the woods -- and there's a waterfall. Very peaceful. Almost as nice as the meadow."

Edward Cullen, rough exterior? The idea was almost laughable. But when he mentioned the Meadow, all other thoughts dashed from her mind. Time set aside for her to be alone, and with the vampire of her dreams. Ah, the irony, she chuckled. If only she had all the time in the world to set aside. Sadly, the waterfall would have to do for now.

"Alright," he tugged her hand, leading her towards the door. "Are you warm enough? It's cold out and I am not exactly a good source of heat."

Instead of going back to the foyer, he leads her to a closet door. "This is a very important place, so pay close attention. Anything you can think of that you need or want, you can find it in here. For instance... a coat." Edward opened the door and reached in, pulling out a very warm looking coat in Bella's size. "Like so."
