Tezuka looked at Inui and Inui wondered if there were an in-person equivalent of hanging up on someone.

That line drew a guffaw out of me. I am also highly amused by the ending - such an entertaining way to wrap things up.

Tezuka stood up and pushed the chair with his foot until it toppled over and collapsed.

"I can't control him when he's like this," Inui said. "You really should tell us what we want to know."

You. I think I love you. And this side of Tezuka. Inui brings it out. ♥

Oh Fuji. And a thing for spiky hair, huh? This had me actually laughing out loud and I cannot wait for reveals. UTTERLY FANTASTIC.

This was SO ADORABLE! I giggled all through it. Especially Inui's little ethical dilemma, over whether to encourage them to tennis-duel over him so he could get the data - but then he gave it up! The romance of it all! Completely delightful.

There was that Ed McBain novel in his room in Germany that time, so I kind of ran with it. :) These two are about the most fun to write together!
