What is it about spiders? I have been dreaming about them so much for weeks. When the trend began, the dreams were more of the AUGH SPIDER type thing, where I would run flailing from it and it would chase me. Now I keep dreaming of them as pets . . . disturbing pets I don't like, but pets none-the-less. Lots of spider imagery around me, too. What ( Read more... )

I have Photoshop from a few years ago (version 6, I think). I don't have the actual disk (yay pirating!!) but I can burn the program onto one for you. I think it will still work.

Weaving, pattern, structure, creation/destruction, Athena/Arachne story (creation as a means to the divine), often seen as dark though not always in a negative way, poison, devouring, traps, vampiric, tenacity, and probably lots of other things that I don't know about. I'm actually fairly down with a lot of the things one associates with them, I just can't get past my unreasoning fear of the actual creatures.

Sweet! Thanks very much. And I understand what you mean . . . I like Spiders in concept, but getting near them just wigs me the fuck out.

Yeah, I'm kind of cheating, and going through my DevArt favs, finding all the pictures I've wanted to show people. Once I run out there, I'll have to actually go *looking*.

She wiped her gallery recently but hopefully she'll start updating again someday.
