Paul had mentioned something about this the other day. I'm right along with Heather, as far as how I feel about it. I would worry, because any surgery carries a risk, not just this kind. But if you feel it's what you really want to do and that it would improve your life, then I support your decision 100%. Let me know if I can do anything to help! Love you! {{{}}}

I hate dr's with a passion. I have the largest fear of the bad things they can come back and tell you. However, when it comes to this topic, I feel like my general practioner really knows what she's doing, and I feel safe in her guidance. I have a recommended surgeon as well, however I'm not quite at the step of meeting with one yet.
I really suggest that everyone reads the book I just finished. It's written in such a way that it's not a self-help but much more of a "hey, here's what we went through, and others, and what you can expect before/during/after." It's called The Real Skinny on Weight Loss Surgery I know that www.amazon.com carries it, I ordered it through them. I would guess a library has it too :) I'm making Paul read it next as I finished it yesterday so that he fully gets what is going on.
Thanks for the support Sarah, I really appreciate it :)
