(no subject)
Shit son, i've neglected this place for like a month /o\ I have to admit, in the last few weeks the doodling has taken a back seat to my crafting and making what with impending craft markets on the horizon. I do miss drawing though, it makes me sad when i can't do it as much as i'd like.
Anyway, have got a few pieces done since my last update. Mainly commissions for keepthefaith_x and mindlessviolet. Thank you ladies and very happy you like your pieces. They will be with each of you very soon!
For mindlessviolet another take on my pin-up, riviter rosie type zoid
And for keepthefaith_x another jellyfish!zoid cause i got a weird brain like that.
Both were acrylic on canvas and were crazy fun to do! I got to play around more with skin tone and im rather happy with the results seeing as i suck big time with acrylics /o\
The Jellyfish! piece is all sparkly and shimmery too, not that you can tell too much from the picture. Also, stupid flash made the black all shiny in parts too. Grumble.
As we speak im getting to work on a commission for blueautopsy based on the crazyness that comes from her head when she dreams. Its kind of ace and weird and wtf all in one, i hope i can create something epic that she'll approve of from it.
I've really missed doodling crazy weird fashion, its what i loved doing most at college so picked up Vogue a few weeks back to try and get back into it all.
This is a wip from a Miu Miu ad. I'll be adding a bunch of glitter to it eventually, they were rather sparkly clothes <3
Right, im sick as a dog right now but going to try and get some more rough sketches for this next commission down. Doodling makes my soul feel better if anything.
Oh, also have this http://www.kelliehuskisson.co.uk awesome, right?! The very talented discophile did all that for me. There are still bits i need to sort out for it but yeah, im a bit of a slacker and im ill but i'll pull my finger out soon!
