I liked that, even though I'm not a fan at all of apocalypse fics. It worked really well.

Thanks for giving it a look, even if it's not your usual cup o' tea.
Thank you, I'm glad it worked.

I love these kinds of fic. There's just something so compelling about them and yours is a standout! It's funny but sad, and Wilson in particular really struck me as being so true. I don't think you've hit a false note anyplace within this. *mems*

There's so many ways to end the world. It's too interesting to not explore the possibilities.
Thank you! (For the awesome comment and the mem, I appreciate it!)

Wonderful! The story I mean, not the end of the world. Great job with both characters. You know them well.

You had a great mixture of humor, pain, doom and a little bit of romance all thrown together and baked in a yummy pie for me to devour. Okay, that was corny, but I'm in a weird mood right now. Thanks for this great read!

Anything I say in response to this comment will pale in comparison to the delightfulness of what you said. Corniness for the win.
Thank you for reading and for making me smile. Glad you enjoyed it!

Wilson is wonderfully cynical in this.

With any luck none of us will ever find out how easy or hard it is to be cheery when the world's ending.
And I'm reminded of a Bruce McCulloch quote: "Cynicism is my whisky, and I had a few."
