I would count it as sick Wilson...he's certainly suffering in his own way. I'm curious as to why he locked himself in his room for days on end (not that I can't understand the feeling, albeit on a smaller level).
I wanted to highlight some sections, but I love it all. *g* That apartment is going to get awfully crowded now, huh?

Hey...you're fast.
Thanks a lot! That's so very cool.

Yeah. A one bedroom apartment isn't conducive to shared living. Claustrophobic, indeed.

locking himself up in his room sounds lie he god a seed of that garden varienty stuff too. I guess he just dealt with it diffarently that his brother. was able to use it to his advantage. *sigh* some people can do that.

He tried to remember what the last decent conversation they'd had. He thought it had been about Cameron's seemingly endless supply of vests.
Heeeeeeee.

I love that House is so worried about Wilson that he drops everything to fly across the country to find him but all he can say is "You are so damn predictable." (You have his character nailed.)

He's a charmer, that House. Always with a kind word for a friend. Dude's just a scruffy ole teddy bear.

Thanks!

Yr in love with an OC? That's something you don't hear too often. I am completely thrilled to hear that. Thank you!

Tell me about it, I wrote a fic with an OFC (read: Mary-Sue) once, and I couldn't continue it, because however sympathetic I tried to make her, she was annoying even me. But you've done really well - I'm finding the idea of House/Tom oddly appealing (not that I think you're going there).

House/Tom---the pairing that broke the internet! That would be awesome. I hadn't even thought of that!
I know neither of them exist but I can't bring myself to do it....Today.

Damn, right when I start to doubt House, his instincts pull through. I love how House was just sitting there all week. Oh my god, House and Tom really do share a lot of character traits. The little tidbits about Jimmy's youth. Wilson absolute surprise at seeing House. (He really is predictable) All of which was, well... Great! Okay As you call tell I need to go to sleep, so I'll leave you with this... write more or die a painful, horrible death. Kay?

Erm....OK. I could argue that, as humans, we have no choice but to die a horribly. We are forced to live all the while facing the inevitability of death. What greater pain can there possibly be, but the knowledge of how fleeting our this life truly is?

But I'm not a freak. So I won't say that. I will say thanks a lot! Wilson didn't have a lot of options. No one can disappear completely.

"What greater pain can there possibly be, but the knowledge of how fleeting out life truly is?"

The greater pain is the fear we feel when faced with the unknown. Whether or not there is something after this. While death itself and the idea of dying scares us; what really keeps us on our toes is if there is or isn't something after this. I think I read a quote that stated, "It is easy to die. We just do it. But to contemplate what happens next, that's the scary part."

Okay, I'm debating philosophy this is good. Not many options huh? I guess I can accept that answer from Wilson. Now how he thought he could get away from House, now that is something that gets him classified as naive. I promise no more death threats, but please do write more soon!!

I'm finally caught up! Yay!

toolazytowork, this story is wonderful. I've enjoyed reading the whole thing, but this chapter absolutely knocked my socks off. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to see what happens next now that Wilson has finally showed up.

Well, at least it's getting warmer. So you don't really need socks.
Thanks for taking the time off from torturing Wilson to get caught up. Glad you're enjoying it.
