Pippin's in serious trouble it seems. :( I hope that he will be well soon! Interesting description of how Pippin can be healed in the last paragraph.

I did some research for this chapter, trying to find antidotes for a heroin overdose that could be done in those times. Atropine, which is a belladonna derivative, is one of the few things I could find. And of course, that was wonderful--from a plot point of view--because belladonna is dangerous itself, making it nice and angsty, LOL!
