Just now discovering this fic through a rec and, wow, am I feeling the time I didn't spend reading this. I love the character interactions and the emotions packed into each section; the quote at the end is great, reminds me of the voice-overs from the show. There are a few places where you make words possessive that ought to be plural and those threw me a bit, but not so much that I couldn't enjoy the fic as a whole.

I've been thinking of putting together rec lists for different fandoms I'm in as an indulgent New Year thing. I don't know if I'll do one for Criminal Minds since I cruise on the edge of the fic part of fandom, but if I do, would you mind if I included a link to this?

Awww, why thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it so much...and still a little amazed that my story's been recommended to anyone, haha! Hmmm...yes...the grammar goofs are the downside of not proofreading enough, I suppose, my apologies (maybe, with time, I'll go and fix them, haha).

I find this story reviewing past post and I'm really glad I did. This story is amazing.
I love how everyone is thinking what to do to help Hotch after what happened, and how you show that as a family, what happens to one affects them all.
Also looking at the other reviews I wonder if you wrote a sequel?
