So much so in fact that he was getting a hard-on from it.

"Fuck," Spike moaned involuntarily as Angel manipulated his piercing, immediately horrified at the outburst.
This? Was just so hot to me for some reason. Mmm Spike nipple piercing.. You write their interactions so well!

Angel just needs to stop lying to himself. Making Spike take off his shirt (I'm sure it had all to do with the grease..), insisting on buckling him in, almost kisses twice now.. mhm. Sure Angel I totally believe you're straight. *snort*

Also thought it was great how Giles pointed out that neither of them thought for Spike to just use Angel's cell.. ha!

I enjoyed the image of Spike trying to fix the DeSoto in the dark, all greased up and fiddling with the engine. Angel stopping shows deep down he really is a decent guy, there's just something about Spike that gets him riled up. I have a feeling it's the attraction he's trying desperately to repress!

Angel demanding Spike remove his shirt was great and that business with the nipple ring was vivid and excruciatingly sexy. I like how it brought up the almost kiss, too. Angel seems to enjoy messing with Spike's head. Here's hoping he starts messing with other stuff, too!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked that image. Also glad you caught that Angel really is a good guy deep down. It's just that Spike pushes all his buttons. I was wondering if that would come across since everything's from Spike's POV in the beginning here (you will start to get some Angel POV around ch 6 or so).

Glad you liked Angel making Spike take off his shirt, too, and the nipple ring fiasco, haha. You're right, Angel does seem to enjoy messing with Spike. *g*
