First post, previous update

So it's been almost 2 months now since I burned my foot. The crater is almost completely filled in now(it was like an 1/8inch deep initially) and the sore has shrunk to roughly the size of a dime (down from quarter sized) but it still looks like hamburger inside.

I'm a welding student, this quarter I'm doing pipe and the 2nd wire feed class. So on 4/14 I was doing overhead Flux-Core when some of the molten puddle dripped. It landed on my right boot, which I felt and had just enough time to think "I wonder if that's gonna burn through or not" before it did indeed burn through into my foot ( Read more... )

I thought you guys might like to see my hernia repair incision! I had an inguinal hernia for a couple years (it only became painful recently), so that got operated on yesterday. I feel like someone drop kicked me in the abdomen.

So a couple of weeks ago I posted the woeful tale of how I came to have a crater in my hand.

I thought I'd provide a short follow-up for those people who were wondering if I still had a hand.

So a bit over a week ago I got bitten by ~something~ and didn't immediately go to the doctor's due to health insurance issues.

And now my hand is rotting on my arm, sort of.
