i love my diva cup. freaking love it. i have uterine fibroids, so my flow is really heavy. like, soak through an ultra-absorbency tampon in 45 minutes. I can go for 2-3 hours without emptying the cup on my heavy days. hellz yeah

I ordered one, and the first time (actually, the only time) I tried to insert it, it was omgpain! I have no idea what I did wrong, but that shit was not comfortable.
where does it hurt, your vaginal walls, or your cervix? if it's your cervix, you may have a shallow vagina, and in that case a diva cup wouldn't work well for you, since it's one of the longer menstrual cups out there.
It's the walls, I think. It was horribly uncomfortable, and I pulled it out after a few minutes, which was almost worse! It almost felt like a UTI or something after I took it out, and I was in a bit of discomfort for probably 10-15 minutes afterward.
you probably have a shallow vagina. try sticking your index finger in as far as it will go... if you can easily touch your cervix, you have a shallow vagina. check out this chart: http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/
