I'm on a plentiful plethora of medication -at last count it was 32 pills and 2 inhaled steroids daily- so I expect to have weird reactions from time to time. I know how you feel, I'm diabetic and have to psych myself out everytime I test my blood sugar; that crap hurts. Creepy thing is I didn't feel anything in my toes for the first two days, my knee however, cursed me every step I took.

I'm using neosporin, bactine and stephaseptic like I own stock in their companies. I'm mot to worried about the dark scar because vitamin e oil should help but your story is actually cooler because you can always say your puppy was in distress and you were hurt trying to help; I just dropped my sandwich.

Also seeing a podiatrist for a second opinion tomorrow because the first doctor told me my fall made me catch gout. :/
