I am about to lance this thing I have on the back of my thigh. I don't know if it's a huge zit, or a bug bite, or a boil. But it hurts like a bitch and it needs lancing. I'll post pictures when i'm done!

Good god, I was scrolling quickly and missed the "this is my dog" explanation for the last picture...it was a horrifying few seconds for me.

my mother has an abscess below the skin on her foot, its the size of a golf ball. I've been trying to home lance it for a week now. she won't let me near it.

this post makes me sad now.

I work in a vet clinic and one of the technicians always calls it that. It makes clients laugh, for sure!

I get those on my thighs, too. I think they're boils. My favorite ones are the ones where I squeeze and see the core fly out but have no idea where it lands till I find something with random blood/pus spots on it a few days later. LOL

The last one I had I had to drain by sticking a pin in it till I heard/felt a "pop". Felt soooooooooooo good getting the core out! To bad it landed on the inside of my daughter's bra..... Oh well. Her bra washes. And my leg doesn't hurt anymore!

Maaaaan, your poor pup. I had to groom this dog yesterday and when the girl brought it in she said "Oh shes been itchy, I think its hot spots. Anyway, I want her completel shaved." Alright, dog has a bath, don't see anything, dog gets checked by vet and gets vaccines, nothing. I start clipping the dog and FLEAS everywhere. So I finish shaving and bathe the dog again in flea shampoo. I had to go upstairs for a few minutes to get help with a nasty cat and when I came back down the dog had scratched the hell outta its sides! It was a huge red, sore mess! I was like WTF and had to bring her up to the vet. But its not like you can put a cone of shame on a dogs foot. =(
