Well, Erol and I managed the trip. Not without incident, of course, but we managed it. And even if the hail and whatnot has stopped, we did manage to bing back a fair amount of supplies. I think. Not enough for everyone, of course, but enough for some. The supplies we--and by "we" I mean "mostly Erol, because I had the only gun"--managed to ( Read more... )

Hnn, guess I'll just look after him. Unless you've got suggestions.

Good to hear you were productive. Get that information over to Karma or Greg.

Thank you for the supply run, Razer. Are you doing alright?

You are welcome, Ness. Do you need anything?

...More or less, yes. Thank you for the concern.

Nah, I'm alright. I went with Haseo and Endrance a day or two ago and got a spare set of clothes. Not the best fit in the world, but it's nice to be able to wash my old stuff.

Aw, it's nothing! You and a lot of other guys do plenty of stuff around here for everybody. If you need a hand between now and around Saturday, I should be available, if you need the help.

The blankets that were rolled up and have zippers sound like sleeping bags. I have never used one myself, but they are supposed to be quite warm.

And may I ask what kind of jackets you managed to retrieve?

...Sleeping bags? They looked almost like bizarre bedrolls to me when they were all rolled up.

Heavy hooded coats. I think they are for rainy weather, because the material is more or less waterproof. Some are a little damaged in some places--ripped here and there, usually around the lower hem--so the lining is exposed, but it is much better than nothing.

Yes, sleeping bags. You have never seen one? As the name suggests, they are used for...well, sleeping. People sleep inside of them. Almost like spacious cocoons that leave your head free and give you room to move.

Would it be too much trouble to keep one of the coats on reserve for me? No matter how many layers I wear, none of them are waterproof.

No, I have never even heard the term before. From the description, though, I think your sleeping bags are zippered versions of my bedrolls--they may have them in this design in Haven, but neither the North nor Kras City had anything zippered like this. But then, Kras City did not even have a reason to stop bedrolls, so that may be an issue.

I do not suppose it would be a problem, provided you come get it before someone with a greater need comes along asking for it. I am supposed to deliver the rest to the men in charge of inventory, but if you meet me in the highschool auditorium in the next half hour or so I should have a coat held for you.

Those would be welcome additions to the inventory. We have plenty of blankets, but no sleeping bags or jackets.
