How about no. And how about you are not to touch Haine, or his Dog, or I will have a serious issue with you, and every person who surrounds you. I made it very clear to the man that I punched that I want to be left alone; sense of justice is not a proper reasoning for harassment. I did not want to be made the enemy, but that was beyond my control. I may be a Dog but I should not be treated as one, and the second things are demanded and ordered of me, you are stepping on my feet.

He is extremely lucky I find humans entirely too boring to kill, but if he ceases to stay out of business that is strictly family, then I will not hesitate to make him plummet off of a large building. He should be so lucky my fist didn't crack his skull. That I took enough control to not shatter everything ( ... )

As for your little "I take no excuses for behavior," I suppose telling you that your behavior is far more inexcusable than Edgeworth's or my own would fall on deaf ears? Too bad.

I am trying to call things even, Giovanni. I do not want to fight you, or anyone close to you. I do not want you to fight me, or anyone close to me. It is perfectly fair, and is not any sort of behavior worth threatening someone over. I do not want to turn this into some sort of war, and I doubt you do either. Step back, take a breath, stop acting like an authority figure toward people who you have no hold over, and no one will have any problem with you at all.

He doesn't have to be in my custody for me to have him. When you understand, come back. That is not how things work for us. It is never how they will work for us. It is a family problem, and all you continually do is get in the way of it. You're simply delaying the inevitable.

I have no desire to fight you, nor that human, I want nothing to do with you, but as long as I know Haine is with you, I am afraid you will have to deal with me.
