I liked these, and saved quite a few, amongst them the hobbits and some of the lovely carousel horses. :) Credit when used, of course.

As for the monitor, did you go from a bulky old-style one to a LED or plasma flat screen? The change
is startling. My laptop's screen seems so much clearer and brighter than my desktop monitor.

Glad you like the icons. As far as the screen goes..We did swap from an old 17 bulky to a new LED and things are much clearer, but it also seems to make the colors a bit blander too. I guess because they are spread out more because we went up to a 20inch.

Hmm, I'm not a hardware person, but if you google for a site that explains the differences, as surely there must be one out there. You might play some more with the new monitor settings. I think that my laptop screen is clearer, brighter, and richer that my desktop monitor. But I didn't change any of those settings; they are factory pre-sets.
