I esp like the Disney ones. I'm not home now, so I'll take some once I am :D
And would you mind telling me whose light texture you used on #6? Thanks in advance :)

These are really pretty! I love that people make cartoon icons; it just makes me happy. And I'm 100% with you on the animal thing, too! When we got our puppies (yorkies, so you can guess which icons I took...)I looked all over- online, newspapers, asking around, all that good stuff. Finally we found just what we wanted, breed-wise. One is a "genetic anomoly" because she's red and they're not looked on as "pure", even if they come from purebred parents (I think she's perfect, tyvm!!). And her sister is the typical black&tan, and is just the cutest thing since EVER, and was going to be used as a breeding dog for the rest of her breedable years. That was just NOT cool with me, and my mom and I were able to convince the lady to give her to us instead. We had both of them fixed at 6 months, and they're 2-1/2 years old now. 4 & 5 lbs, Chye-Ann Mari and Pixie Dot, and they pretty much rule this house. ;) As it should be. Pixie is still kind of a spaz (they treat "breeders" differently- not badly, just minimal human contact. they say it makes ( ... )

Glad your dogs turned out with a nice life. We got our Westie from the Human Society and she had been living with what I like to calle "backyard breeder." Which means they just get 4-5 different pure breeds of dogs and start breeding them like crazy and then sell the puppies out of the paper or internet. Then they take the dogs away from their moms waaaay too early and the parents are usually mistreated. Well this guy had an outbreak of mange and heartworms at his house because he wasn't taking care of the dogs properly. He was going to shoot all the dogs with a gun because the vet told them they would be unable to produce anymore puppies. Well the Human Society took all his animals and we got one of his Westies. She was in horrible condition when we got her. Sick with heartworms and mange and waaay underweight. Her back was sagging from all the puppies she had carried over the years. But now with time and love she has become a beautiful, healthy girl. And I couldn't ask for a better dog.

*is seriously speachless* woah. I don't think I'll ever stop being shocked at how horrible humans can be. -- I can't get over that. ugh.
I'm SO glad she has such an amazing home now. I bet she's just a cuddly-lovemuffin. *squishies her & you for proving some humans still have humanity left in them*
Once we get settled here (new house, new state) we're going to the local shelters to get a (or, if I can convince the 'rents, more than "a") big mutt of some sort. The puppies always go fast, but the adults sometimes stay and stay... I get all excited just thinking about it! :D
