I think it was one of the best so far... but I'm curious about the male wraith after Ronon- was he a leader of the hive or was that my imagination? I thought Queens were the only leaders...

Yeah, I KNOW! I caught that, too. I was surprised about that. But remember, it was the same with the Wraith male on Olesia, the prison island planet in "Condemned"? He said that he had promised to feed other hives, which indicated that he controled hives, not a Queen. Hm. Maybe there's certain strong males? I mean, there's GOTTA be SOME strong males, otherwise how do they decide how to mate? Cause, y'know, Queens MUST be picky. And that male on Sateda looked pretty buff. And old, come to think of it.

Hm, maybe I'm confusing canon but maybe this is part of the reason the two hive ships were fighting each other last season? The males with power want to take over from the queens?

I almost thought that the wraith would turn out to be Michael- that would have been an even better episode, though I would say this tops most!

What? Durin' that Ford episode arc? No, those two definitely had Queens. We saw the one Queen on the ship John was on, and then she said that she would speak with the Queen on the hive after he fed her bogus intel.

Naw, I knew it wouldn't be Michael, but I'm glad it wasn't. I like Michael and I really don't want him dead. He's kinda like Ba'al, I suppose. He's th' bad guy you love to hate and really don't wanna see go for good.

I loved it. one of the top eps. I liked how the john/teyla interaction was like a kinder, gentler version of the carson/rodney interaction. and Carson got his spine back and willingly did stuff with the tech! squee...

and yes, dammit it's funny. DEAR GOD, the smiley face boxers are killing me. "that would be my asss..." hehehehehehehehehehhe
I just loved all of it.

*nods* Yeah. Most definitely.

*giggles* Yeah. Carson with a spine. Heh. Actually, I think that's the first time we've seen his spine...well...um...ever? And I LOVED how he screwed his eyes shut to fire the weapon.

*rolls eyes* Lemon slices. Those were LEMON SLICES! *snerk*

I loved it all, but I particularily loved the Teyla-John scene and the Rodney-on-the-floor and John coming in to check his progress scene -- the whole "longer than I want to admit" thing was hilarious and it was cute how he just hunkered down on the floor with him.

It was great to see everyone having nice, comfortable, familial interactions with each other.

And my man Caldwell rocked because, as always, he was the voice of reason but he bowed to Weir's sex appeal decision as much as he could without getting his people killed. ;)

*bounces up and down, pointing* YES! YES! YES! I LOVED that scene in Rodney's lab with him on the floor! And John coming him looking puzzled, obviously thinking "Now I know I left my scientist in here SOMEwhere..." then finding Rodney spawled on the floor, just casually sits next to him. Shyly admits to making an effort to come up with corny joke to make his boyfriend feel better. Yeah, that was a great scene.

*giggles* Yeah, Caldwell WAS awesome this ep. And John was SO acting like th' teenaged son whose opinions are NEVER taken seriously and whose best friend is now in trouble and if daddy doesn't do things NOW, he will steal daddy's keycard, his gun and his big shiney spaceship with full compliment of marines to do it, god dammit!

Man, this was THE best ep because it WAS about family. THIS is what John means when he says that you don't leave people behind. And if you do, you do everything in your power to get them back.
