Sorry to hear that your BP as been high! Hopefully it will settle down so that you don't have to go on medication. I don't mind taking it, really, I'd just be pleased to not have to be on it, since that would mean my BP was better, which is healthier for me. I see my doc next week, so hopefully she'll be impressed when she sees how good my readings have been in the past several months.

Yeah, the new laptop is really great! We'd been talking about getting me a new one, and had even looked at a few last week, but I was so surprised when Leo brought one home last night!

Thank you! Today for some reason the potty is not something she wants to do, and she's resorted to crying about it. If it keeps up, I'm thinking about just ditching the potty plan for now and letting her try again in another month or so.

Do you check yours at home or outside the doc's office? I know mine is always SUPER high at the doc since I'm nervous about them checking it, and the drive out there is terrible - I literally white-knuckle it all the way out west to my doc's office because of the construction on 595! My numbers at home in the past few months have been very good, though, which is promising.

Yeah, there is definitely a bit of frustration with Windows 8, but since I mostly use my laptop to surf the Internet, I have all the time in the world to learn it!
