Recipe: Baked Turkey Meatballs

Sep 21, 2012 17:30

Okay, a last recipe for today. This one is a mish mash of about half a dozen recipes I looked at online a while back. None of the recipes I found for turkey meatballs were quite what I wanted, so I made one up! I've made this one twice now, once served with a salad, and once with mashed sweet potatoes, and they're pretty good.

I tried making meatballs earlier today. It was a flop!!! I should have read your recipe. It sounds delicious.

Oh no! Sorry your meatballs didn't work out - maybe try again? I'm pretty decent at most things, but I suck at making fish about 75% of the time. It's just one of those things that rarely works for me, but I keep at it. These meatballs were surprisingly tasty. I'm not really a meatball kind of person in the traditional Italian-meatball-with-red-sauce way, but these meatballs with a salad or some veggies are pretty tasty!

I might try this! Mike has a recipe he likes but it never hurts to try a new one. :)

That's true, never hurts to try something new for a change. The only reason I bothered with ground turkey or meatballs altogether was for some variety. I like them, and more importantly, Olivia actually ate one!

Just made these. They were scrumptious. I can see why Leo said they would be nice with marinara sauce. Thanks!

Oh, awesome! I'm glad these worked out for you. I usually am not a ground turkey fan, but all in the name of variety, right?
