We may not have saltines, but YOU don't have DIGESTIVE BISCUITS! Not having digestive biscuits (especially the chocolate coated kind - with proper chocolate not that utterly awful stuff they make over there. yes I've tried it.) is some sort of crime against humanity. Apparently the closest you have are graham crackers, which are really not the same thing in the slightest. (I know ex-pats in the US who will drive for HOURS to a speciality import store to get digestive biscuits. Also Marmite.)

THESE are digestive biscuits. (It says they're widely available in the US, my ex=pat-in-the-US friends say that they LIE. They must only be widely available in a few certain areas...) They are the rulers of the biscuit world - as wiki mentions, averages out at 52 chocolate digestives sold in the UK EVERY SECOND. It is VERY VERY easy to eat an entire packet at a sitting. I have to carefully limit my purchase of said biscuits for this very fact.
