I have to admit, the reviews from Transformers 2 have been so horrible that I'm oddly fascinated and am now planning to see it:

"If you want to save yourself the ticket price, go into the kitchen, cue up a male choir singing the music of hell, and get a kid to start banging pots and pans together. Then close your eyes and use your imagination."-

I'm not sure if #6 is a criticism or an endorsement.

I've always thought bad movie reviews make for some hilarious reading, but these are a cut above. I'm crying with laughter.

Wow. I, too, now want to see it. However, I fear I may, for the first time, leave a movie disappointed that it didn't live down to the hype.

Yeah, my fear would be that it would just be an overly-long stupid piece of crap, and not actually a magnificent disaster.

I think my favorite part about it is the gossip around town while this was posting - that Michael Bay only refers to Michael Bay in the third person, that Michael Bay threatened to kill a member of the post crew for doing something to displease Michael Bay, etc. I can never say enough that "Swimming with Sharks"/"Tropic Thunder" are documentaries (as you know), but apparently Michael Bay was having an epic battle of Michael Bay's own. Too bad poor behavior leads to poor product. Learn, Hollywood!

Not only that, some of its characters harbor racist stereotypes, which I don't recall being very present in the last movie.
