Alaska Vote Counting

Last Tuesday I volunteered all day at the Obama campaign office, and I did not stop working until McCain gave his concession speech at 8:20 pm PST. West coast polls had closed at 8:00 so for the last hour we were phone banking Alaska, one hour behind. Wow.

This would save Sarah Palin from being able to appoint someone to the seat that Stevens would get ejected from, wouldn't it?

AP article is saying that Begich is 800-odd votes ahead, with absentee ballots still being counted.
