The only thing that makes me feel good in all this is that it doesn't seem to be working. These attacks aren't a Machiavellian Karl Rove strategy, they're desperate attempts to fling shit from the sinking ship. Obama's message of unity is the ultimate anti-wedge.

Ah, the genius of the "you know, I had heard all of these things about Barack Obama, and I decided to do a little research myself" meme-style, public-access conspiracy theorist emails that go into the next zany investigation that his true motivation is to destroy us all, take away our freedoms, and of course, that he's a muslim and friends with terrorists.

And to the coworkers who say: "I don't know the truth of it, but it makes you think, don't it..."

*facepalm* I mean, really? My god. These people really exist?

...links between Obama and a Palestinean named Rashid Khalidi, even though Khalidi is a University of Chicago professor (like Ayers)...

Did you mean "like Obama" in that parenthetical? Ayers is at UIC, not Chicago...

Seriously, some of these things are just... hysterical?

McCain is so obviously the wrong choice for America. So painfully obvious.
