I thought that this questionnaire was worth answering. Actually it's less of a questionnaire, more of a to-do list. I've eaten 76.5 things on this list.
Black pudding is stereotypically encountered on a plate that's already full of animal protein, so it's easy to either skip it or eat it and feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of animal products just ingested. I wonder what it tastes like as an afternoon snack.
Eating whole insects is easy: find some small black ants running around on a clean patch of floor. They're high in protein and somewhat sweet. And they won't spoil your appetite!
I'm rather disappointed that Hostess gets the only pie on the list. And beef tongue (ideally from a taco truck) should be on there somewhere.
There are some of these that I can't remember if I've eaten or not. The Indian ones, mostly.
Once upon a time, kaolin was the active ingredient in Kaopectate. Later it was changed to a different type of clay, attapulgite. In both forms, I had a strange fondness for the taste and texture of Kaopectate--most people found it unpleasant, but not me. It was probably mostly the sweet flavoring they added to it, but I've always wondered if I had a touch of clay pica.
Recently, though, Kaopectate as sold in the US seems to have been switched to bismuth subsalicylate, the same active ingredient as Pepto-Bismol.
