For a while I've been hearing that the armed forces are reaching a breaking point, and that we cannot continue to deploy soldiers in their current numbers. I give it til Monday before the rightbloggers start accusing everyone on the left of criticizing Bush's decision to pull troops out, claiming that Bush Derangement Syndrome trumps liberals' ideological consistency or concern for the welfare of the troops. And I'm only giving it til Monday because nothing gets done on Fridays.
