Forbidden Island (Sunday)

Apr 21, 2007 00:14

Forbidden Island is the best tiki bar I've ever been to. The venue lacks the faded grandeur of the Tonga Room, and the location in Alameda can be difficult to get to, but the drinks are prepared by meticulous, obsessed tiki enthusiasts who adhere to the strict secret recipes passed to them in absolute confidence by the widow of Don the Beachcomber.

This Sunday, Forbidden Island is having its one year anniversary party. matrushkaka and I will be attending, probably with occlupanid and hopefully a few others. You should join us.
