Maybe they *do* hate our freedom
I have a flurry of thoughts about this picture.
So they're exercising their freedom of speech to condemn freedom of speech? Usually I'm careful to avoid overreaching "straw man" statements but that one person is explicitly saying "freedom go to hell".
Do cartoons really anger these people more than Abu Ghraib, or did I miss the first protest?
Can't we just send them a copy of "Piss Christ" and call it even?
"They insult Mohammed by making him look like some bomb-wielding freak which has nothing to do with Islam! Let's bomb them for this insult!"
This comic is my favorite RMCS comic all over again.
I thought that British papers *did* refrain from running the objectionable comic, which was shown in Denmark.
I guess we don't have a lock on crackpots after all.
I really hope that these folks are the highly visible 0.001% insane religious fringe.
