It's always a pleasure to you your artdumps. How long did each take to complete?

So what else is happening in Tongariland?

the first two were about an hour each? I remember doing them after work so an hour is about as long as I can work on something without falling asleep orz. the cleaner drawings probably took a few hours each. I've been watching zhuzhu's speedpaint videos and trying to see how he lays down colour, the guy is such a drawing machine :/

and thanks for asking! I've been busy with work and family stuff that's been good but too mundane to write about really. and watching GINTAMA fdshfsdh I wish I could rec it to everyone but it's sort of incompletely translated so I feel bad asking people to read it bits at a time :/

your icon is a total tease! will kitty ever touch scythe? D:

This post reminded me that I have yet to tell you that in this post and the last Hero one, I've really liked the way you've been painting. Especially with the top one on this page, and the Serpent's scales and such. And of course your ability to do odd perspectives and make them look realistic and good. :D

haha thanks :) just trying out new things, hopefully learning new lessons as well! though my motives are as always to minimize drawing time I seem to spend longer working out how things work T_T

that last drawing of shiina ringo was really referenced right out of her video, it's shot almost entirely from bird's-eye view and she looked like she was having so much fun :3

You are so right, all the crack makes me keep hoping for some backstory tooooo I SERIOUSLY WANT A FLASHBACK ABOUT TAKASUGI'S EYE TOO T_T and lol yeah after i read the arc with younger hijikata... i became slightly more interested cause before i didnt really care :| AND THEN I DISCOVERED HIJIZURA 8D 8D 8D

woo still loving your style + painting *____* the first one looks so traditional o_o wait is it? i have a hard time distinguishing cause your digital painting has a traditional feel to it too ...

exactlyy! I can't believe there is still no explanation for what happened to his eye. this Gintama it is such an undercover BL anime, I still can't believe the latest DVD cover, WHEN DID TAKASUGI EVEN MEET HIJIKATA

(I love gintoki / takasugi / katsura but damn that one hijizura dj it was just so beautiful. and while trawling for fanarts I kept mistaking teenage hijikata for angry teenage katsura because of the hair!)

and thanks :3 everything is digital because I have no idea how to use traditional media T_T

your art is more beautiful than beautiful, and i thought this might be a good time to mention that i finally sat down and read HERO all the way through last month, and it is amazing. evocative! transporting! transcendental! it filled my heart to bursting with poppy fields! you are some kind of talented. <3
