This is "wow." That's now an adjective. "Wow."

The paragraph that hit me most was actually the one where Kirihara was describing the "thing" that Yanagi, Yukimura, and Sanada had. It's a very familiar feeling, kinda like when you watch the older kids on the playground, just hanging out and it's all a sacred thing.

You wish you could be there, but you know they won't acknowledge you fully even if they accept you. -_-; And somehow, you don't want to be, because it's just that fine balance...or something.

yup, that's it, something like that! that would be an accurate and good description of it: the Rikkai Power Triangle, whom you look up to and want to be like, but sacred and untouchable. (my brain is screaming 'no, rikkai power threesome!', but that just sounds wrong.)
