I realized today that I should've made a picspam for Women's Day yesterday (happy holiday, ladies!), but then I figured everything's better late than never, so I made one anyway :D. I thought it'd be fun to take pics, but ended up mostly just cropping old screenshots.

These were great. <3 Especially enjoyed politician Lola (with secret service John Mole keeping a lookout).

Lola is a big politician in my game - it fits perfectly with her bio, and with half of Strangetown being her family, she shouldn't have much problems getting elected (at least locally). She's a big liberal, campaigning for alien rights and looser immigration laws xD. And her and John are my favourite crack pairing in sims (I have this whole soap opera in head about them meeting because she'd been receiving death threats from anti-alien fanatics and needs protection).
(yeah, thinly veiled allusions, I has many of them :D)

I do 10% sharpen, 10% contrast, and 10% saturation. It makes everyone look kind of orange, but I prefer that to "corpsy". On nighttime pictures I'll sometimes adjust the brightness or make it more blue. Sometimes I'll do some artistic touches, such as the hallway picture where I pumped up the yellow/green in Dina's dress while desaturating the blue around her, or the "rainy goodbye" scene, where I desaturated everything by 5%.

I play a lot of sims featured in SHWC the way strange_tomato imagined them. You'll see Johnny and Chloe have the same makeovers in Lola's pic. (Zoe is currently dating Verse in my game, I plan on breaking them up and pairing Zoe up with Jasmine eventually though)
Thanks for the tips. I tried that, but it didn't look at all as great as your pics. I have decided to sharpen 20% instead of 40, so thanks! (I might lower it even more eventually, but I just need this transitional value to get used to the change) :D.
