I like the character design in Odin Sphere. I think if I was a gamer I'd definitely do fanart for that series (as such, I don't draw anything for series I don't know :p).

Gotta agree with you about the vacation thing. I didn't get to work on my fanfic, but I guess it's because I put my time and energy into inking "Fire Festival". Now that I've been back in school for a week I'm already exhausted. -_- There's just so much to do when you start at a new lab. Oi~
