Yes, quite recently (Feb. 25) the New York Philharmonic Orchestra flew over to North Korea to perform a concert there. Surprising, no? But no, Kim Jong Il didn't show up, figures. :P

That's actually really surprising to me, because I'd been following the visit of the NY Philharmonic to North Korea on CNN but they only mentioned Dvorak and Gershwin's music (and of course "Arirang") but there was no mention of Wagner and "Prelude to Act III". Maybe it wasn't symbolic enough for the news agency to mention it? (Arirang symbolizes reunification, Dvorak probably symbolizes NK coming out of isolation, and Gershwin is giving the audiance a sense of the wonders the outside world has to offer?)
