If you're interested in DGM fanart, talk to toroki, I remember her posting a while back about some DGM art site search and I think she specifically recced some sites, too.

You're quite welcome. <3 I'm probably not as deep into the fandom as I could be (since I tend to prefer pairings that aren't as popular with the English side of the fandom), but I've been around the block once or twice and... yeah, sadly, Chad does not get that much fic written about him. Which is too bad, because I'd love, at the very least, to see more Chad/Karin fic.

Right now... admittedly, I lean in certain directions (I have such fondness for Kanda or Komui or Ticky), but it's still early enough that I want to see everything that's pretty. It can get a little overwhelming at times, though, because the fandom is already so HUGE and it seems like I can hardly keep up with all the new sites constantly popping up. @____@

(Though, I'm very, very glad to know that I'm not alone with loving the D.Gray-man fanart! ♥)

Ooh, I remember visiting that Chad site a few months ago, actually. Pretty, pretty art. And Chad is ♥, pure and simple.

I've always had a soft spot for the Chad/Ichigo pairing, but I just can't seem to write it for some reason. That frustrates the Hell out of me. My Chad muse is very much like the real Chad himself in that he hardly ever says anything. He just sits in a corner and plays with kittens, while occasionally casting longing glances over at the other characters.

Poor Chad. ;__;

You know, I sort of understand why there's all this massive Shinigami love, I feel the same way about a lot of the characters, but... there are also times when I really miss focus on the original characters from the human world. Sometimes it seems like Chad, Ishida, Orihime, and almost even Ichigo are forgotten by a lot of the fanartists.

Chad does sort of strike me as a difficult character to write, because he's so... quiet, yet. It's sort of difficult to get him to react, because he's so calm and peaceful. And when Ichigo is around him, when they're not getting into trouble or having to fight bad guys, it seems like Ichigo's a bit more peaceful, less grumpy as well. Which is nice for them, but makes them a bit difficult to write?

The Lost fanfic was kool ^^ can you put some more Lost fanfics up that would really make my day ^^ maybe some "gay" Lost stuff, I dunno Im into a lot of yaoi stuff so I dont think you call it yaoi I think you just call it "gay" ^^ oh well put up more Lost fanfics plz

Oddly, the more I watch the show, the less drive I have to actually read fic for the series. However! There's a fair amount of Lost slash (which is the more commonly used term for same-sex fanfic :D) out there and I can at least give you a few pointers.

lost_news - Lost News is a fandom newsletter which has a section for "it fic" often times when they come out with a new issue and it's a really good way for finding some of the better fic of the fandom. It'll be all sorts of pairings, both het and slash, but it'll give you a good idea of which authors are ones you'll want to watch out for.

Fic recs - I haven't read most of them, but it's several people chiming in with fics they liked.

sawyerficrecs - Community for fics (both slash and het) people liked that featured Sawyer.

lost_recs - The community has been very, very quiet lately, but it's got a lot of fics in the backposts and is a good basis for starting with the fandom
