Mmm, fic to read. :D

Can I rec something back at you? A Game for Two by thehoyden. She's written several HnG fics and this is the only one I read 'cause I haven't SEEN HnG, but it was V-day and I felt like reading, and ...wow. Again, dunno the characters, dunno the plot, but this had a lovely pace and reading style and just, eee. Also, she sounds like she knows what she's talking about with Go, and that helps. And I just read it and thought, "Hey, Becky likes HnG, doesn't she? I think she'd like this!" (Could be wrong, mind -- our tastes don't always match. But, you know.) (It's Shindou/Touya and PG, btw.)

*glomps and sparkles* Eeee! Thank you for the fic rec! I always appreciate when you toss a fic my way, because you usually find authors that I haven't had time to unearth for myself and I know to put a mental note by their name to read the fic when I get a chance. And I find that the fics that read well to people who don't know the fandom can often times be some of the best because they're interesting stories on their own, rather than just relying on the pairing to get the fans to like the fic. ....which made sense in MY head, dammit.

And, yeah, I like Akira and Hikaru a lot--they get so much fic for them that it's hard to wade through it all, so I appreciate the rec. *smooches and luffs and skips off to read* ♥

Technically, I don't think that fic is a Valentine's Day fic, but it's got the SPIRIT of one. (Weirdly, it was, iirc, the only fic on my friendslist on V-day that day. o.o Could be misremembering, but... yeah. I wrote a few Vday fics myself and posted them but am behind on the number I wanted to do -- I have at least two more Vday fics I want to write and will just have to be late on, curse my schoolwork! -- so it's possible other people were just ded of schoolwork too, I imagine. XD)

Yes, I did want Valentine's Day fic! Not NEARLY enough smoochies in fandom, it's all pining fic or angsty "I love him, why doesn't he love meeeee?" fic and I WANTED MY SCHMOOPY FIC.

Awww. I'm sure you could make much more embarassing typos if you really put your mind to it. You could have said, "You -wanted- more Valentine's Hay fic?" Or "You -wanted- more Valentine's Lay fic?"

When it's done well, it's be fabulous. I always seem to forget that Clow's magic has its roots in two traditions.

Pft. Please. Like I don't adore you right back every week? ♥ I know! CLAMP and Harry Potter just... the idea does not come together well in my head, but then someone'll go and write it and I'll be astounded because it's a brilliant crossover.

I'm always wary of those "Sakura goes to Hogwarts!" because they're so often... errr, not good, but Snape and Yuuko banter? GENIUS. Hell, I'd love to see Yuuko in Hogwarts, I'd LOVE to see Yuuko and Dumbledore having tea together while she liberally spikes hers with alcohol and he quietly looks on.

Heeheehee, I loved that fic because YOU KNOW YUUKO WOULD HAVE ONE. I'm half-convinced that SHE was the one that gave Fuuma the container to store Seishirou's eye. Or that SHE was the one to somehow go get it.

Well, she would certainly be friend with Fuuma. They're in the same biz after all. And she would appreciate his fashion sense.

However, if she had something as messy as retrieving an eye out of a corpse to do, I'm pretty sure Yuuko would find a way to make /someone else/ do it.

Heh, that reminds me, I don't even remember seeing you reccing Leareth's fic with Fuuma getting Seishirou's eye... or was it because it was friend only ? I think it might have been.
