Well, holy buckets. I figured when you didn't mention it that you'd read three lines, found it terrible, and skipped it. I'm really flattered, particularly because (as you know) I was really uncomfortable admitting to myself I wanted to write them in the first place.

The Burt stuff was, I admit, some of my favorite stuff to imagine and write. I kept thinking after I wrapped the story up, "Burt is going to be SO PISSED when he finds out how long Kurt's been sneaking around." And in my mind, Kurt justified it at the outset as something he was doing to protect his dad (or, you know, avoid listening to his dad's point of view because, frankly, he's a little spoiled).

I kept trying to write a rec for it that I felt did justice to it (and then eventually gave up for a borderline keyboard smashing one instead) because, no, it's totally one of those small handful of fics in this fandom that I would give to on the fence readers in order to sway them over. (Which is one thing I always wish I could be more clear about when doing recs--sometimes I'm recommending for people who are already there and want something light and easy to read, sometimes I'm recommending because it's something I wish everyone would read.) And, really, I'm just lazy at getting to recs on time

It was a little bit of a slow going at first (especially since I kept comparing it to La Femme Nikita) but once I got a ways into it, I started falling in love with it and a;sdlkfja;slkj I need more fic stat, plz, fandom. Also, people need to fave things on delicious with better tags so I can find stuff easier! GET TO IT, FANDOM. >:|

I know, right!? Every once in awhile, I see some really good cosplay pictures on deviantART, but never in a concentration like this and it's just. a;sdlkfjl;kjas before I could respond to this comment, I got sucked back into it and had to go through all the images again because some of them are just AMAZING OH MY GOD.
