whenever you comment my fics and my writing style i always have to stop and think "wait, who´s that writer?". really, you put such a stupid smile on my face, you have no idea. (i tried to find Chandler/Monica fic myself, and yes, like you said, disaster). i admit that in writing that one House/Cuddy I was being overly pessimistic. my next House/Cuddy was quite hopeful, in kind. i am so excited about this fandom, again, yay!

also, yay! for so many X-Men fics to read. it´s one of those fandoms i always go back to. (if you ever happen to read a decent Xavier/Jean you would tell me right away. right?)

*grin* This dance of ours should get old, but I have yet to tire of it, much like I have yet to tire of that same feeling of thinking, "Her fic can't possibly be as effective as I remember." and yet it is.

With some pairings, I'm not one for unhappy endings, it makes me wail and gnash my teeth and have to read ten happy ending fics to balance out that one. But with House/Cuddy, I don't mind it sometimes. The show is full of damaged people and that's what I love about it. (Or maybe I'm just flying high enough on Chandler/Monica love that it didn't matter. ♥)

Oh, another thing I didn't know about you! Are you more of a comics or movieverse fan? (I've not read any Xavier/Jean myself, I've always shied away from it, but I've seen it several times. If I come across them again, I'll shove the links your way. <3)

1602 was fabulous. God, the art was so pretty. It was very hard not to drool on. I feel dirty for liking Daredevil, that's not supposed to happen, is it?

However, in exchange for helping you not give a shit about the X-Men, you should get the House of M trade, just the core issue. It's not the best thing ever, but it was good. It'll be an even trade off.

As long as Matt Murdock is completely divorced from Ben Affleck in my mind, I am comfortable with being intrigued by Daredevil. Someday maybe I'll even read his title. (I have actually read Miller's Man Without Fear, or something with that approximate title.) He was just super, super sexy in 1602. I am completely open to Daredevil/Black Widow now. I'm highly suggestible!

I'm going to get a library card soon, I think, so hopefully some comics trades are in my future.

I don't really know that much about Daredevil, but I guess he's sort of like a Batman without the gadgets? My neighborhood, no one comes near, man with no fear, blah, blah, blah? I feel dirty for being curious.

OMG. LIBRARY CARD, YES. I can totally give recommendations! (Ie, STAY AWAY FROM THE ROGUE SERIES.) And New Avengers is, like, completely, insanely awesome. Brian Michael Bendis is my new word-boyfriend. ♥

And-and if you want some good series? Check out Runaways and Young Avengers. Especially Young Avengers.

Because there's a good plot, and a snarky speedster, and they have good lines and pretty art and there are canon gays. And the fandom had a little joygasm when they came out officially.

And they're goign to hook the Scarlet Witch in sometime, which will make everything even better.

I actually started with Marvel long before I switched over to DC. (I caught the old X:TAS cartoon on TV a lot and was terribly intrigued

But New X-Men is definitely not!suck, and if I could ever figure out what was going on, I'm sure I would like it much more. As it is, dorksidefiker has gotten me addicted to Anole/Anyone that moves because she writes him so well *guilty, very guilty*

I know a little about what Marvel's doing with Pietro. I've read about half of Son of M (I'm going slowly because it's difficult to read it, the art is very much not to my taste and I've skimmed ahead and I don't think I like Hines' take on the whole thing, especially not on Magneto), but isn't he in X-Factor now? Being written by PAD? PAD wrote the original X-Factor, where I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pietro.

But, then, I haven't actually read everything yet, so I probably shouldn't be talking. *sheepish*
